The network
Science Across the World is run through this web site. The database of active schools helps you see which countries are involved. The section on the topics supplies the teaching resources. You can use the email links to contact others in your country, regionally or internationally. To help with your communication we have divided the countries into broad regions.
Headquarters
Marianne Cutler (mcutler@scienceacross.org) directs the programme from the offices of the Association for Science Education (ASE) in Hatfield, UK. She is supported by the programme manager, Karen Shoebottom (saw@scienceacross.org).
Country co-ordinators
This programme has flourished thanks to the voluntary enthusiasm of many teachers and educators. In some countries we have a teacher who is willing to help other schools wishing to get involved in Science Across the World. Co-ordinators may run multinational and country workshops and courses for groups of teachers wishing to, or already working with the programme. Individual teacher advice is often available through the voluntary group of educators.
All countries welcome
You are free to join in with this programme wherever you are. All countries are welcome even if we do not have a country co-ordinator in your part of the world. All you have to do is register. Send an email to the headquarters team in the UK if you would like advice.
